What are my responsibilities during a reading?

As a psychic medium, the information I receive is like a piece to a puzzle. I have no frame of reference for what I am receiving. You, as the client, are the one who has the outlines of the puzzle filled in and know where the piece I receive fits. Sometimes it may not be clear where the piece belongs at first, but ultimately it will find it’s way home. Validating the information that comes through lets me know that the information I am receiving for you is accurate.

How can I prepare for a reading?

The best way to prepare for a reading is to set the intention that you are open to receiving whatever messages spirit would like to bring you. If you are hoping to gain insight about a specific situation or hear from a specific loved one on the other side, simply think about it/them. It is important to remember that spirit will bring through whatever messages are for our highest good, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear about/from what/who you wanted to.

If my loved one(s) don’t come forward during a reading does that mean no one is there or they don’t love me?

Not at all! It is my understanding that our loved ones in spirit are living their own lives and working on their own growth on the other side. Since spirit doesn’t measure time like we do, sometimes they may come through for you at a later date not realizing that it is in fact “later” for us! Our loved ones in spirit also have the advantage of having a greater perspective on our lives here on earth. Occasionally a loved one may choose not to come through because that perspective allows them to know that there will be a time when it will be more important for them to come through and deliver their messages.

How long after someone passes do I have to wait before I can contact them via a medium?

Technically, a loved one is contactable the moment they cross over. However, it has been my experience that it is best to wait a period of 6 months before trying to contact someone who has crossed over. I believe this has more to do with the time we here on earth require to heal and process our grief than any availability on spirit’s part. Remember that spirit will always bring us what we need most, and if hearing from them soon after they have departed will cause us more pain and suffering or interfere with our healing in any way, then they may not be willing to come through at that time.
